Embudu is a plenty overgrown island with palm trees and bushes, you can walk around in 15 minutes. White sand, idyllic little inlets, high rustling palm trees, 29-degree warm water – indeed a little piece of paradise…
Bungalows in three different categories are integrated inconspicuous in the island surroundings and to enjoy the sunset with a cool drink the most perfect place is the terrace of the beach bar.
But the highlight for us divers remains the underwater world, which you can explore very easily at Embudu. Why? Embudu is surrounded with a house reef within easy walking and swimming distance and drops to 30 meters. 24 hours a day you can choose from 6 different diving routes on the house reef. Already on the house reef you can see nearly everything the underwater world offers. From rays, sharks, moray eels to Napoleon fish, lobster, turtles and sometimes-even mantas. Nearly every meeting is possible.Whoever is interested in bizarre coral formations will find in the current free coral garden, what he is looking for.
Of course we offer several boat trips per day to dive sites on the outside of the atoll. More than 40 of the most beautiful dive spots of the North- and South-Male-Atoll can be reached in 30 minutes to one hour by boat. Among them the famous Canyon, Cathedral and The Wall, the colorful Dragon’s Mouth or Lion’s Head that is mentioned in every guide book about the Maldives. We visit several cave dive sites such as the big Wadu Caves or the Vellassaru Caves as well as the big wreck "Victory" and the colorful, varied Potato Reef is regular on our program.
One of the highlights in every diver's life is most probably the legendary Embudu Express, an “action drift dive” in the Embudu Channel, not even ten minutes by boat away from Embudu. You can meet almost any big fish, reef sharks we can rather guarantee to watch.
We are also organizing full day trips with two dives and a visit of one or two other islands.
You can be sure: everyone gets their money's worth with us – experienced divers, beginners and who wants to continue one’s training. With our SSI instructors you can make courses from the Scuba Diver up to the Divemaster. You can dive with Nitrox or a Rebreather or you can be trained to do so.
